Amazing Grace

Things that happen here give you the sense that there is a divine supervision.
One of our hens collected 13 eggs that she laid and started to brood , The big white rabbit who was friends with her decided to help her and is replacing her few hours a day sitting on the eggs.. no one knows if we’ll have chicks butwe certainly promote brotherhood
Looking back at what made me happy then (BR) or Now (AR) explains it all,
I can sit for hours watching the hens interacting, or looking at the horses gestures with no words but mimics and body language,
I’m waiting every dawn for the sun to come up to see the amazing colors , I’m checking the wheat everyday if it grows higher
I have no part in financial crisis or scandals, No need to read newspapers rather time and again Ginges Ayatamatov,
no desire to watch TV rather enjoy Tchikovski by Eskenezy, same prelude till Guy says enough..
Amazig grace took away from me the tension, the stress , the need to prove, the need to be taller higher richer stronger smarter more than
My happiness is with the things that build my very narrow world, My family and my animal family.

wonderful People along the way

Here;s to those wonderful wonderful people i met along the road during these few months we live here in Ramat Negev, those who are smiling and friendly (unlike my previous neighbor..) those who literally guard me, who make my life so much easier instead of complicating stuff at the municipality, those who offer help ad assistance, those who teach me how to work and how to rest those who ride bicycle slowly and not cut you with a bimmer just to show off those who sing Israeli songs and not in a bar which gives them a kick rather here in Park Golda. those who keep the twin eggs for you jsut to make you happy etc so here goes
Malka and Sarit from Kolbolit, Alejandra from Kibutz laundry, Kimchi ad Moti from the national guard, Miri and Ziva from Municipality, Erez and Yankale who are fighting along side vis- a -vis the bad guys in the government , Shmulik RIfman who is a leader yet modest, Talia who made Guy’s entrence to school so smooth , Liel who watches us over night, Daniel who looks like Dennis the Manice however is a great kid ,Asia who found out about Guy in 3 months more than his 4 years teachers,tzik who teaches me of olive trees, Alon who sets the computer every time we have no water, and even Albar people from Beer Sheva, you wouldn’t believe- bring me my car on Friday eve home! unbelievable!
And the list goes on Alon and Tomer, Arik and Zohar Simona or vet who opened for me a new door to knwledge , Simona the dinigroom manager in the Kibutz who spoils me of couse the unique Badash couple Hermesh Couple and all Soroka doctors may God bless them
This is an amazing part of the country with great honest to God people Wonderful people who are not yet rot.

A new day A new challange

One would think deep thoughts are off limitin in such a Paradise, but no they are in your heart.I wake up and go to sleep with the thought spread in five directions- all my sons even they are independent the challenge is not to let go of them, the challenge is to teach one self not to worry rather trust their judgment, then you truly let go.

Well i’m trying.

Today we are planting 300 more olive trees- that’s another challenge, each day we learn more about better irrigation systems about using the desert climate in our favor, but i still dread the winds especially those which come from East,

I was never exposed to windpower before perhaps i should use it instead of fear it
Amitza our hen is good, she overcame the the dog bit and she stands on both legs perhaps she’ll give us eggs as before ,
Sun is coming up the sky is yellow and orange, i see the flag from the terrace and i lift my head up high again

300 NIS cheicken (hen)

Ido brought yesterday from his uncle 5 hens, we have already two roosters so the whole community was celebrating
Helas, This morning Guen (named by Tal) our female jack Russel bit her, badly, she left her wing almost with no flesh!. I pitied her and i felt responsible for her situation, we didn’t just want to kill and her she showed signs of courage, immediately Ido and I cleaned the wing, disinfected it and banded it, i gave her some horse pain killer(it dint kill her) an then we called the vat.

So Simona came, she doesnt question my state of mind as a nut rather understands my feelings so she gave her an antibiotics shot , she operated on her and took off the parts that were dangling and then she banded her again.

The hen was all the time watching while in Ido’s hands and i’m holding her pick .She acted bravely since she wasnt sudated while being operated .

We returned her to a safe place and went on with the Horse traning,

WHile sitting over the Lunch table, no one ate meet! we just couldnt,

Then Eli says, only crazy you will invest 300 shekels in a kilo and a half of chicken that costs 20 shekel…

But i say, she ’s worth it, she is a survivor like Katya, Like Jack, Like me.

We named her AMITZA. (brave girl)

who would have thought i would feel somethin or care much of a Hen, not a cat, nor a dog nor a horse..

now i can understand the guy who bought yesterday a truffle of 1 kilo for 200.000 us $ perhaps he felt something towards it too..

All alone am i

All alone, Dudu went to pick up Tal, the Rancheros are back home for Saturday, the guard comes in couple of hours,

The Horses, the Dogs Me and my weapon(I added a whip… no kiddin) sitting at the Bur Dudu built looking at the hills and at the clock on the screen,

going every fifteen minutes to the round pan to check on the horses.

Strange feeling if you try to analyze it logically, all alone surrounded by nothing but hills and… beduins, The wind adds to the atmpsphere i must say.

Well it’s not as frightening as crossing the park in the middle of TLV yesterday eve.I’m waiting for Tal to help me plating more cherry trees it’s going to be called”King’s Road” entering the house.

I got a present fro a friend who returned from MALI 10 Baubab trees, looking for the right spot to plant “Little Prince orchard. I need a place that will keep them safe from the winds till they grow, not if.

Yesterday i et a friend i havent spoken to in 25 years. it took me 25 years to overcome the anger and bad feeling,

I planted this morning one Olive tree with Ido near house, a small one to grow in name of Relief and forgiveness ,things i’m not really familiar with,it’s a heavy burden to carry so much staff in your heart.
